An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a voluntary program that assists employees with personal problems and/or work-related problems that may impact their job performance, health, mental and emotional well-being. Most organisations will provide their employees with access to an employee assistance program.
EAP addresses a wide range of issues including, but not limited to;

- Workplace conflicts

- Financial issues
- Trauma
- Alcohol and substance abuse
- Stress and depression
- Victimization
- Grief and loss
Accessing EAP
Should you be faced with any of the above issues, you should consider participating in an EAP. The program is designed to offer employees assessment, counselling, referrals and follow-up services. EAP has helped lots of employees rescue their careers while improving their home and work lives. On completing the program, you will not only be able to handle problems better, but you will also be able to stay positive and productive.
Today, employees can access EAP programs with ease. Most service providers are only a call away and are flexible with their schedules. At Recovery Partners, our psychologists can meet with clients on short notice either in their offices or on-site at the place of work.
