Rehabilitation

When someone experiences an illness or injury that compromises their capacity for work, they can feel helpless and frustrated. Employers and families can experience productivity and financial pressures. But, there’s a critical aspect of recovery that has a significant impact on the individual’s wellbeing as well as the wellbeing of those around them: rehabilitation.

When led by an experienced Recovery Partners consultant with our evidence-based Biopsychosocial approach, rehabilitation can help you, your staff member or client move through an experience of illness or injury in a timely way, with less stress, more support, and more optimism.

Our consultants support Workplace Rehabilitation, Vocational Rehabilitation and Assessment services across various schemes, such as Workers  Compensation, Department of Veterans’ Affairs, CTP, NDIS and Comcare.

Ergonomic Assessments

What are ergonomics?

Ergonomics requires an understanding of the work environment to design and arrange a set-up optimal for human use. This includes safe work in both white and blue-collar environments.

Our ergonomic assessments ensure an appropriate interaction between employees and their workspace. This involves assessing seating arrangements as well as daily behaviours such as how often they stand, the equipment they use (computers, accessories, keyboards and machinery), and their posture throughout the workplace.

Our team applies principles from numerous disciplines such as physiology, biomechanics, anthropometrics, psychology, and industrial design.
