The Role
Your new role will have you delivering 1:1 therapy services to NDIS participants with varying disabilities such as TBI/ABI, Autism, Intellectual and Physical Disabilities, and Psychosocial Disability. Join our Ability Partners Team and play a vital role in helping people enjoy their lives every day by building their confidence and skills in their daily environments.
No day will be exactly the same, however typical tasks include:
- Therapy sessions to help build capacity and independence
- Provide Functional Capacity Assessments
- Assess and prescribe Home Modifications and Assistive Technology
- Complete housing assessments to focus on safety and formal support.
Essential Qualifications, Skills & ExperienceÂ
- AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist
- Valid Australian Driver’s License
- Experience working within the Community Disability Sector
- Excellent written (+ report writing) and verbal communication skills
- Aptitude for time management and organisation
