Kristin is an Occupational Therapist (honours) with a passion for improving people’s quality of life by working with them to achieve their goals. Kristin’s interests are in returning people to their valued work roles, hand therapy and splinting, universal design, and ergonomics. She believes in the value of communication to promote good outcomes for her clients.
She is an experienced consultant who is very confident with WorkCover Queensland, DVA and other types of insurance claims. She has been with Recovery Partners since January 2018, providing warm, caring assessments and services.
She enjoys the variety work that comes with working with people and the complex physical and psychological cases, especially chronic pain management and neurological disorders. Kristin is keen to develop her skills in these areas and gain more hands-on experience. She is skilled at breaking down complex processes into easily manageable steps for all to understand is one of the reasons why she’s such a successful Allied Health professional.
Her Qualifications include
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Hons) – The University of Queensland
- APHRA registered
- Current Blue Card (QLD working with Children Check)
- Mental Health OHS Training
- Manual Handling Certification
Outside of work you will find Kristin spending time with her beautiful family. She has recently welcomed her second son to join her husband and firstborn. When she gets a chance, she likes to hit the gym and is a bit of a coffee snob (be aware Baristas’)!
