Safety Management systems commonly asked questions

mySHEQ offers an all-in-one Software Solution for Managing your Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Information.

Below are some commonly asked questions on how the safety management system mySHEQ can support organisations to streamline and enhance all Health and Safety operations.

Is the system customisable?

Yes. Businesses can do the following without the need for external costly coding:

  • Build your own inspection and audit templates
  • Alter your dashboard to focus on information you want to see immediately
  • Change drop down options throughout the system
  • Turn modules on and off for particular user groups so the system is simpler to use showing only relevant modules to that group

What if I want the system to do something unique?

We have an ongoing road-map of upcoming requests and changes – if the request will benefit all users, we will build it.

A recent example of a unique request was a HR manager wanting a specific report to be auto emailed every Monday morning – we made that happen overnight!

Are Safety Management Systems easy to use?

Yes. There are numerous features to make it easy;

  • Colored red text to indicate which fields are mandatory – these turn green when complete. Simply follow the red text fields.
  • A built-in tour guide that shows you what each button/field is for.
  • A complete built-in user guide complete with instructions and videos.
  • Easily make drop-down options relevant to your business using your own language and terminology.
  • All modules essentially work the same so once you understand one its easy to use the rest of the system.
  • A Helpdesk button to get a reply anytime or direct phone number to us.

What does mySHEQ stand for?

S = Safety

H = Health

E = Environment

Q = Quality

And you can run an entire integrated management system with it!

Is there a Contractor Management module within the Safety Management System?

Yes. You can have as many contractors in the system as you need without it affecting the price.

Once a contractor has entered their own information and uploaded requested documents, all prompted automatically by the system, you can easily see who is approved and compliant to use.

How long do I need to subscribe for?

The minimum subscription is 12 months. We also offer subscriptions for 24 months at a discounted rate.

What is the cost for a Safety Management System?

Pricing is based on the number of users that actually perform actions within the system.

Regardless of how many users you have, it includes:

  • Unlimited employees
  • Unlimited contractors

Is my data and privacy of information protected?

All data is stored in an Australian data/cyber warehouse in Brisbane. Information security, disaster recovery, system security, password and system access are in place as we strictly adhere to all information security and privacy laws.

Does the system produce reports so I can analyse what’s happening in the system and easily share them with others in my organisation?

Yes. There are 3 areas to obtain information.

  • All modules
  • Reports module
  • Business Intelligence module

All report information has many filters and easily downloadable in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Do you provide on-site support and advice if we need general WHS advice?

Recovery Partners is a WHS professional safety consultancy business and we can use your mySHEQ system to perform functions onsite as requested.

Can I easily manage incidents?

Yes. The workflow below shows what information can be captured when an incident occurs

This all sounds good, but can I get access to the system before I decide?

Absolutely. And we highly encourage it. We will give an initial demo so you have a broad understanding of how the system works.

You know your company better than us, so it’s important you trial the system to appreciate if it’s right option for you.
It’s only when you use it that other questions will arise, and we can address them as you think of them.
